Coraline Studio Teams Up with Spider-Verse Producers for Live-Action

Laika, the stop-motion studio behind Coraline, is teaming up with Phil Lord and Chris Miller, producers of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, to create a live-action film called Crumble. Written and directed by Brian Duffield, Crumble follows a married couple on a global adventure to break an ancient curse. This collaboration marks Laika's expansion into live-action films while still committing to upcoming stop-motion projects like The Night Gardener. Laika’s president of live-action film and series, Matt Levin, expressed excitement about this new venture and praised the unique storytelling that defines both Laika and Lord Miller's works.
