College Football 25 Brings Back Classic Mode, Adds NIL Features

May 29, 2024 3:15 PM

EA Sports has unveiled new details about the upcoming "College Football 25," marking a significant return to the beloved college football video game series. The game will introduce updated features like NIL (name, image, likeness) deals and the transfer portal, while omitting some fan-favorite modes such as the high school season from Road to Glory and Mascot Mode. Players can no longer export draft classes to Madden NFL Football 25, and ESPN-style presentations will not be included. Despite these absences, the game aims to enhance realism by featuring real-world student-athletes and allowing players to sign NIL deals, which affect gameplay attributes.

What new features will be included in College Football 25?

New features include NIL deals, which allow players to make money through sponsorships, and the transfer portal, enabling players to manage rosters more realistically. Additionally, the game will showcase both costumed and real animal mascots to enhance the college football atmosphere.

"College Football 25" is set for release on July 19 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game marks EA's latest effort to bring the excitement and complexity of college football to life, following a hiatus since the last college football video game.
