Blade Runner 2099: Secret Plot, Star-Studded Cast Revealed

The highly anticipated Blade Runner 2049 sequel series, Blade Runner 2099, has finalized its cast and officially begun filming in Prague. Leading the series is Michelle Yeoh, known for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once, who will portray Olwen, a replicant nearing the end of her life. Other notable additions to the cast include Hunter Schafer from Euphoria, Dimitri Abold, and Lewis Gribben. Despite the exciting cast, plot details remain under wraps, although the series takes place after Blade Runner 2049. This marks the Blade Runner franchise's first television adaptation and its first new live-action project in seven years. Additionally, Annapurna Interactive is working on a game adaptation titled Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, set between the original Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049.

Michelle Yeoh is leading the cast as Olwen, joined by Hunter Schafer, Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben, Katelyn Rose Downey, Daniel Rigby, Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim, and Matthew Needham.
