Bioshock creator unveils fresh Judas shooter footage

New gameplay footage of the shooter 'Judas,' from Bioshock creator Ken Levine's development company Ghost Story Games, was showcased during the recent State of Play. The game is a narrative-driven, single-player shooter set in the decaying space city called Mayflower, showcasing the protagonist named Judas. Equipped with unique powers, players must navigate a society where machines dominate and citizens are encouraged to spy on and attack one another for breaking laws. Although the game was initially revealed during The Game Awards in 2022, this is the first time gameplay has been shown. 'Judas' will be released on platforms including Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with the official release date yet to be announced.

At present, there is no official release date for 'Judas.'

Ghost Story Games, helmed by Ken Levine, is the creative force behind 'Judas,' following the closure of Irrational Games in 2014. Levine is known for his work on the influential 'Bioshock' series, which is praised for its narrative depth, atmospheric world-building, and innovative gameplay mechanics. 'Judas' appears poised to continue Levine's legacy with its emphasis on a strong story and immersive gameplay in a dystopian setting.
