Bethesda spills Starfield stats and future roadmap

Bethesda has shared impressive statistics and exciting future plans for the popular space exploration game, Starfield, which has been played by 13 million people. Players have collectively spent over 22.28 million days in the game, with an average playtime of 40 hours. The company announced that starting from February 2024, they will release updates roughly every six weeks, aimed at introducing a variety of improvements and new features. This will include new methods of travel, city maps, customization options for ships with new decorations, and advanced building choices.

Regarding gameplay enhancements, Bethesda is focusing on providing players with settings that enable easier or more challenging experiences beyond the typical difficulty levels. These adjustments will cover aspects like inventory capacity, proximity to the ship for accessing cargo, the damage a ship can take, the credits available with traders, the impact of ailments, and new survival mechanisms. Additionally, official mod support is scheduled for launch next year and fans can look forward to Shattered Space, the first major expansion featuring new narrative content, locations, gear, and much more, slated for release next year. The game, which debuted on September 6, is available on Xbox Series X and S, PC, and Game Pass, earning high praise for its vast and detailed universe.
