Baldur's Gate 3 mods arrive this September

Larian Studios has announced that Baldur's Gate 3 will receive its much-anticipated Patch 7 in September 2024, introducing official mod support. Initially rolling out to PC and later to Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X and S, the update aims to provide players with an officially sanctioned toolkit to enhance their gameplay experience, reducing technical issues that come with unofficial mods. Additionally, the patch will bring revised evil endings and multiple quality of life improvements, further elevating the game’s already acclaimed status.

PC players will see the Baldur's Gate 3 Toolkit in use starting in July 2024 with a closed beta, while the full release is scheduled for September 2024.
