Atomic Heart Studio Launches Publishing Arm for Bold New Games

May 30, 2025 12:51 PM

Mundfish, the studio behind the acclaimed first-person shooter Atomic Heart, has launched its own publishing label named Mundfish Powerhouse. This strategic move comes after the game achieved a significant milestone of over 10 million copies sold. Robert Bagratuni, CEO of Mundfish, revealed that the new publishing arm aims to support other studios in creating ambitious projects, emphasizing a focus on "big and bold" titles that are poised to redefine industry norms. The label will offer extensive production support, high-end tools, and a commitment to nurturing fewer but more impactful games. This expansion reflects the studio's recognition of a growing demand for innovative experiences in a gaming market defined by risk and creativity.

What is Mundfish Powerhouse aiming to accomplish?

Mundfish Powerhouse is dedicated to helping developers create ambitious and high-quality games by providing them with production expertise, tools, and support throughout the development process, focusing on delivering fewer but bigger titles that challenge the status quo in gaming.

Atomic Heart is a unique blend of first-person shooting and immersive storytelling, set in an alternate reality where the Soviet Union has thrived through technological advancements. The game has attracted attention for its distinctive visual style and gameplay mechanics, earning a loyal fanbase and marking its place in the competitive landscape of indie and major game releases.
