Aug 07, 2024 11:59 AM

WolfEye Studios president Raphaël Colantonio has hinted that fans of the beloved games Dishonored and Prey can look forward to an exciting new project from the team. Colantonio, a co-creator of both franchises, teased on social media that they will soon reveal more about their upcoming first-person game. Following the success of their debut title, Weird West, which showcased immersive sim elements reminiscent of Arkane's legacy, anticipation is building around this new retro sci-fi RPG. Though details remain scarce, a continuation of the Dishonored series may also be in the works, as it appeared on a previous list of Bethesda’s upcoming titles.

What can Dishonored and Prey fans expect from the new WolfEye Studios title?

Fans can expect a retro, first-person, sci-fi role-playing game that leans heavily into the immersive sim elements that marked the success of Dishonored and Prey. Colantonio reassured fans that they will be pleased with the upcoming game, which aims to deliver a similar experience to the titles he previously worked on.

Dishonored, released in 2012, is celebrated for its unique art style and complex world-building, allowing players to approach objectives with a variety of strategies. The game spawned a successful sequel and a standalone expansion, solidifying its place in gaming history. Prey, released in 2017, offers an immersive sci-fi experience that combines exploration with horror elements, showcasing the depth of narrative and gameplay mechanics that Colantonio's projects are known for.
