Oct 27, 2023 11:37 AM

The virtual reality game Arizona Sunshine 2, developed by the Netherlands-based Vertigo Games, is set to be released on 7th December. The announcement revealed that the game would be available for SteamVR, Meta Quest, Pico-headsets, and PlayStation VR2. This game is a sequel to the original VR zombie shooter from 2016, and it returns players to Arizona.

Notably, Arizona Sunshine 2 comes with new and popular weapons from the first game as well as a melee system, allowing zombies to be defeated without bullets. The game also features a dog named Buddy who assists players during gameplay. A new trailer offering detailed gameplay is now available for viewing.

As part of the background, Vertigo Games is known for other games including After the Fall and A Fisherman's Tale. In 2020, the studio was acquired by Koch Media, a subsidiary of the Swedish Embracer Group, which also owns THQ Nordic.
