Kakao Games has announced the closure of the European and North American servers for the popular open-world MMO ArcheAge, which will take effect on June 27. Ending an era that started back in 2014, this decision comes due to a significant drop in active players which has impacted the game's intended experience. In preparation for the closure, the ArcheAge Sunset event has been launched, providing players with free top-tier equipment, growth materials, and other boosts to enjoy until the servers go dark. Although refund options for unused Credits and purchased web packages are not available, recent purchases made within the last 14 days before the announcement are eligible for refunds under specific conditions. However, players cannot transfer their in-game data to other regions.
