Respawn Entertainment unveils new Apex Legends hero, Conduit

Respawn Entertainment has unveiled Conduit, the newest hero for Apex Legends. The character is set to be added in the upcoming nineteenth season, and was first shown in the "Stories from the Outlands" trailer. Conduit's backstory centers around an attack on her hometown, where a Monarch Titan saved her life, with its pilot sacrificing themselves in the process. Now, after years, Conduit returns to that place in an attempt to save her sister, using the remains of the Titan to gain enough strength to participate in the Apex Games. Little more official information is available, although leaked info suggests the character's abilities may revolve around active shield healing. The nineteenth Apex Legends season, called Ignite, will start on October 31, with more details expected to be revealed closer to that date.
