Microsoft has rolled out a new Xbox update to conveniently inform players when a title in their Game Pass library is about to leave the service. Gamers will receive a notification alerting them that the game is leaving Game Pass soon, accompanied by the exact departure date. The prompt encourages players to add the game to their wishlist for future updates, or to take advantage of a discount of up to 20% to purchase the game before it's no longer available through the subscription.
The notification appears when one attempts to play a game set to leave the Game Pass, whether installed on the console or accessed via cloud streaming. This feature is intended to give players a two-week notice prior to the game's removal. Before this update, Xbox would only announce outgoing games in their fortnightly blog posts along with incoming titles. Among the new games arriving are "Thirsty Suitors," "Football Manager 2024," and "Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name," replacing titles like "Coffee Talk," "Ghost Song," and "Football Manager 2023."
