The recent surge in 'bot lobbies', largely orchestrated by a Chinese boosting service, has created an unfair environment and has led to the top of the leaderboards being dominated by players who cheat their way up. In tackling this issue, Activision has announced that its team, TeamRicochet, has carried out ban waves resulting in 29,000 bans and plans to pursue all technical and legal options to shut these services down. This stance coincides with the upcoming launch of Season 3 featuring Rebirth Island on April 3, enhancing the integrity of Call of Duty Warzone and its new mobile version, which features cross-progression with Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone on console and PC.
