Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II launches on 21 May with Warhammer Skulls

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, a new addition to the popular franchise, has received an official release date. The game will launch on 21 May 2026, alongside the Warhammer Skulls videogame showcase. Developers Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios have confirmed that the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.

Gameplay and features

Mechanicus II is a turn-based strategy game in which players take control of two main characters: Lector-Dogmatis Videx, a member of the Adeptus Mechanicus, and the Necron Lord known as The Shield. Both factions are playable across multiple campaigns, delivering varied and strategic gameplay. Warhammer Skulls event

The Warhammer Skulls event is scheduled for the same date and time as the launch of Mechanicus II, namely 18:00 CEST / 17:00 BST / 9:00 PT / 12:00 ET. The event promises a number of exciting announcements and updates for other Warhammer titles, including:
