Rainbow Six Siege: year 11 season 2 with the return of Calypso Casino

Rainbow Six Siege is set to launch its Year 11 Season 2 on June 2, 2026, and players can look forward to the return of a beloved map that pays tribute to the franchise. A major rework of attacking operator Dokkaebi is also being introduced.

Return of Calypso Casino

One of the highlights of the upcoming season is the reworked Calypso Casino map, originally made famous in Rainbow Six Vegas. This location was a fan favorite and later returned as a multiplayer level in Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The updated Calypso Casino offers both nostalgia and fresh gameplay experiences for players.

Latest gameplay additions

With the introduction of Operation System Override, players will experience several interesting new elements. Dokkaebi, originally introduced in 2017 during Operation White Noise, is undergoing a deep rework. Her Logic Bomb gadget is now the Jegeo Payload, allowing her to upload malware to enemies' phones, which can then deal damage to them.

Solid Snake comes to Siege

A major addition to the game in the previous season, Operation Silent Hunt, was the arrival of Solid Snake, an iconic character from the Metal Gear series. This unique crossover was made possible through a collaboration between Ubisoft and Konami. Solid Snake's original voice actor, David Hayter, returns to bring the character to life, strengthening the connection for fans of both franchises.

Solid Snake has the Soliton Radar MKIII gadget and the On-Site Procurement ability, which lets him replenish secondary gadgets from downed enemies.

Despite the challenges brought by the end of 2025 and the start of 2026, including a hacking incident, Rainbow Six Siege has proven resilient. Ubisoft has reaffirmed its plans for the future, stressing that it has no intention of slowing down.
