Pulsing Aura: New cards and gameplay

Mega Shine also included shiny versions of several Pokémon, including Ponyta, Zorua, Pineco, and Dragonair.

In Pulsing Aura, players can expect new cards, including new Mega Evolutions such as Mega Lucario EX. Mega Lucario EX has a massive 190 HP and can unleash powerful attacks with its Fighting Pulse move, which can be boosted depending on the amount of energy used. Players are also expecting new Trainer cards like Korrina, which can enhance the attacks of Fighting-type Pokémon.

Changes to the emblem system

Alongside the announcement of the new expansion, the developer of Pokemon TCG Pocket has confirmed that Dex missions and Emblem Tickets will be removed. This is intended to simplify the system for earning emblems. Both systems, which previously allowed players to collect emblems through specific missions, are likely to be phased out before the end of April 2026.

However, a new system for collecting emblems will remain in place. Players will no longer need to collect Emblem Tickets individually. Instead, emblems will be awarded automatically after collecting a certain number of cards in an expansion, ranging from 50 to 150 cards.

Monthly events and updates

In addition to the emblem system changes, Pokemon TCG Pocket is also introducing regular monthly events such as Step-Up battles and Wonder Pick Events. These events give players the chance to collect powerful cards, including rare Fire-type cards like Mega Charizard Y EX and Moltres EX.
