Pokemon Go: choose your path and the Spring Marathon event

Pokemon Go has introduced a new Timed Research quest called Choose Your Path. This event is currently available until 11 May 2026, with a number of interesting rewards for players. The event offers unique choices that affect the expected rewards and the player experience.

Choose Your Path Timed Research

Choose Your Path Timed Research is available until 11 May at 20:00 local time. Players can choose from three different paths: Explore, Catch, or Battle. Depending on the path selected, players will receive different tasks to complete in order to earn rewards. The event offers rewards such as 500 Stardust and 5 Poké Balls for completing the first task.

  • Make 15 Excellent throws - 10 Great Balls
  • Make 50 curveball throws - 10 Ultra Balls
  • Rewards: 3 Golden Razz Berries, 5 Rare Candies
  • Bonus: 1.5x XP for catching Pokémon with Nice throws or better

• Battle Path

  • Win 5 Raids - 10 Great Balls
  • Use 25 super-effective Charged Attacks - 10 Ultra Balls
  • Rewards: 3 Golden Razz Berries, 5 Rare Candies
  • Bonus: Extra 5,000 XP for completing Raids

Tips for choosing a path

The path you choose can affect your gameplay. Players who enjoy walking and exploring the world will get the most out of the Explore path, while the Battle option is suited to players who regularly take on Raids. The Catch path may be especially appealing thanks to the upcoming Lechonk Community Day on 9 May, which boosts XP bonuses for catching Pokémon.
