The third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on November 11, 2026. Prime Video announced the news on Monday during Amazon’s annual Upfront presentation.

The official plot for season 3 reads: “Season 3 takes place several years after the events of season 2, at the height of the War of the Elves and Sauron, as the Dark Lord seeks to forge the One Ring that will give him the edge he needs to win the war, bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his will, and finally prevail over the entire continent.”
