Kingdom Hearts Collection [1~3] on PS5: 3 platinum trophies and release on 8 October

• The compilation includes a total of 3 Platinum trophies on PS5.
• The PS4 versions of the relevant games reportedly had 6 Platinum trophies in total.

What happened

According to the source, Kingdom Hearts Collection [1~3] on PS5 will feature a revised trophy setup. The bundle is said to include 3 Platinum trophies in total, spread across the collection’s components. That marks a notable difference from the earlier PS4 versions of the relevant games, which the same source says offered 6 Platinum trophies altogether. So this is not about new game content, but about a different way the existing Kingdom Hearts titles are bundled and rewarded with trophies on PS5.

The source names Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind (DLC) as the parts that each award one Platinum trophy. That brings the PS5 version to 3 Platinum trophies overall. The provided context also notes that the exact trophy list has not been independently verified, so the source is the basis for the count here.

Melody of Memory is not included in Kingdom Hearts Collection [1~3], according to the same source. The release is listed for 8 October; the year is not explicitly stated in the provided context. The source also describes the collection as covering “almost the entire series,” which leaves some room for interpretation around how spin-offs are counted.

Background

Kingdom Hearts Collection [1~3] is described in the source as a PS5 compilation containing almost the full Kingdom Hearts lineup. The only explicitly mentioned exception in the provided context is Melody of Memory. That positions the collection as a bundle bringing together multiple earlier releases rather than a brand-new mainline game.

The comparison with the PS4 releases is mainly about trophies. On PS5, there would be 3 Platinum trophies, compared with 6 in the earlier PS4 versions of the relevant games. The source specifically names three parts of the collection: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind (DLC). Each of those is said to award one Platinum trophy on PS5. The provided context does not offer further confirmation of the full trophy setup, so the source remains the basis for this report.

Release information is also limited in the provided context to 8 October. The year is not repeated in the fragment, so only that date can be stated as given. The source does not provide a full contents list for the collection either, but speaks generally about “almost every entry” in the franchise. It is therefore safest to report only what is explicitly mentioned: the three components with Platinum trophies and the absence of Melody of Memory.

For context, the Kingdom Hearts series began in 2002. That date is used in the source as a reference point for the franchise’s history. The collection therefore fits into a longer line of re-releases and compilations around the series, but the provided information does not add details about new features, technical upgrades, or content changes beyond the trophy setup.
