Warner Bros. Games and HBO have announced a new video game inspired by the popular fantasy-drama franchise Game of Thrones. This upcoming game, titled Game of Thrones: Dragonfire, is a free strategy game for iOS and Android, primarily based on the prequel series House of the Dragon.

Game of Thrones: Dragonfire is a free-to-play strategy game that takes players to Westeros, 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. In the game, players assume the role of a descendant of the Valyrians who must hatch, raise, and deploy their own dragons in the battle for control of the Seven Kingdoms. Featuring well-known characters from the HBO prequel, such as Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower, players must think strategically and form alliances with other players.

Gameplay includes a tile-based system where players can build their fortresses and utilize surrounding resources to enhance their base and military forces. Players will participate in various 'campaigns,' described as 'epic scenarios' that last an average of eight weeks. Each campaign has specific objectives that players must achieve.
