Crimson Desert, the latest title from South Korean developer Pearl Abyss, has emerged as a notable contender in the gaming market since launching on 19 March 2026. The open-world fantasy action game sold 5 million copies within its first 26 days, surpassing the developer’s expectations.

Pearl Abyss has released its financial results for the first quarter of 2026, reporting an impressive 419.8% increase in operating revenue, reaching ₩328.5 billion (around $220.6 million). Net income rose to ₩170 billion ($114.2 million), marking a significant improvement over the previous year.
