New Avatar: Seven Havens Revealed, Post-Korra Era Adventure

Nickelodeon has officially announced a new animated series titled Avatar: Seven Havens, which will expand the Avatar universe two decades after its debut. Created by Avatar: The Last Airbender masterminds Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, this 2D animated series will consist of 26 episodes. It follows a young Earthbender who becomes the next Avatar after Korra, navigating a perilous world devastated by a cataclysm. In a society where the title of Avatar is feared rather than revered, she is pursued by enemies from both human and spirit realms alongside her long-lost twin. The series aims to enrich the Avatar lore with themes of fantasy and mystery. Additionally, Avatar Studios is working on a full-length animated film centered on adult Aang, set to release on January 30, 2026. This new project is part of a broader celebration of the franchise, which also includes books, comics, toys, and a game on Roblox.
